This week the infamous photographic genius, Ansel Adams, has taken over the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich.
In over 100 pieces from this photographic master, water becomes muse. Adams treated the medium as if it were a great friend, with a sensitivity so deep that it is able to transform entirely, taking on an endless array of forms, personalities and tones. Here landscape photography become a truly emotive experience; with the works detailing as much about the man behind the lens as the breath-taking views in front of it.
