This isn’t usually something I do – I like to think I’m not the materialistic type – but these past few months I’ve been ploughing away trying to break into an arts mag, working full time and yet am only just creeping closer to the £0 mark, so shopping has simply not been an option. The result? Desperation for pretty things! Pretty and outrageously priced things!
So here are a few of them and if you, dear reader, are lucky enough to have a few pennies on the green side of your bank account then go forth and buy, for these beautiful things must be enjoyed by some!
Right, now that I’ve gained your attention with this collection beautiful furniture and dresses, I’m going to do a bit of a Children in Need or Russell Howard’s Big News on you and follow a jolly First World guffaw with a serious point: the amount of homeless people in the capital this year is absolutely horrendous, and something I personally can no longer ignore, so as well as offering the odd cuppa this Christmas, join me and support Thames Reach who work in London and directly with those sleeping on the streets.
Merry Christmas One and All!
Tinker and Tailor Vintage Camera Lamp, Yava Upcycled Glasses, Popshot Autumn/Winter Issue, Tinker and Tailor Mannequin Hand Lamp, Fab Teacup Wine Glasses, House of Hackney Flights of Fancy Pitch Blue Cushion, House of Hackney Flights of Fancy Topsy Turvy Cushion, Double Oh Seven Upcycled Vintage Typewriter, Plant and Moss Odd Couple’s Bench
Popshot Mag is another good venture: featuring poetry and illustrations from different people, each issue is themed and always a brilliant collection of good writing – which can be hard to come by!
Upcycled teacups and bottles are a favourite, along with lighting solutions (items which I always have a penchant for) from Tinker and Tailor Designs.
Glad I have my interiors ready for the beautiful live/work space which I WILL have by the end of next year. Somehow. Promise.
Best Christmas wishes xx
